Glycoscience
Glycoscience — The Glycoscience Training Program (GTP) is a newly NIH-funded training opportunity for graduate students focused at the interface of Chemistry and Biology. Glycoscience deals with the chemistry, biochemistry, and biology of glycans, which are one of the four classes of macromolecules of life along with nucleic acids, proteins, and lipids. Glycans are involved in essentially all physiological or pathological processes. Clearly, Glycoscience is becoming one of the most dynamic areas of scientific research over the next decades.
