Ecological Genomics & Genetics Research
Ecological genomics and genetics is an emerging area in which the techniques developed for the molecular genetics of model organisms are being applied to organisms and systems of intrinsic ecological or evolutionary interest. Genome and transcriptome sequencing or genetic manipulations may be used as part of addressing ecological questions. Faculty from multiple departments are engaged in this area.
