  • The Choo Lab studies the pathology of skeletal muscle in the context of muscular dystrophy, aging, environmental toxins, and metabolic stress using both animal models and human in vitro systems. Our research focuses on muscle stem cells and mesenchymal progenitors within skeletal muscle, investigating how these cell populations respond to diverse pathophysiological stimuli.
